This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving strategic growth, mentoring a sales team, and developing key relationships within the commercial construction and development community.

What You’ll Do

As Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth and shaping the future of our construction division.

  • Lead, mentor, and support the sales team to achieve revenue and performance goals
  • Evaluate and implement new sales approaches to increase pipeline and close rates

  • Ensure pricing aligns with profitability goals and approved project estimates
  • Collaborate with operations and field teams to ensure seamless project handoffs and successful execution
  • Facilitate pre-construction meetings to ensure alignment between sales and field operations

Market Expertise

  • Stay informed on industry trends, technical innovations, and competitive activity
  • Provide strategic insight to leadership on emerging opportunities and client needs

What You Bring

We’re looking for a proven sales leader who understands the landscape construction or commercial construction industry and thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.

Required Experience

*The ideal candidate brings an established network within the development, construction, or property management community and a track record of converting relationships into revenue.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • 5–7+ years of outside sales experience in landscape construction, commercial construction, or a closely related industry
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business and managing high-value client relationships
  • Experience leading or mentoring sales professionals

Key Strengths

  • Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator able to engage effectively with clients, executives, and field teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while driving results and meeting revenue targets

*This role requires someone comfortable owning the sales process—from identifying opportunities and building client trust to successfully closing complex commercial projects.
